Thank you so much for checking out my Ghost Puppy backpack! This intermediate level pattern is written in US terms. I highly recommend using the specified types of yarn or an equivalent to ensure you end up with a backpack sized plush. Mine measure about 14 in. tall and 9 inches wide, not including the ears.

Unlike my horror babies pattern, this does not include a plushie option as the shaping works better as a bag.

This pattern is worked mostly in the round. The pattern will indicate where we switch to working in rows. The straps are “made to fit.” The pattern includes instructions for crocheted straps, but I’ve started using pre-made alternatives to straps, and the strap section includes some notes on these options.
