Ghost Town Socks
Colorado has over 1,500 ghost towns with only about 640 remaining.
Most ghost towns were mining town or mill towns that
provided for the mining towns. Stage stops were abandoned when the railroad came through, and then rail stops were deserted when the railroad changed routes or abandoned the spurs. At least two towns were drown when reservoirs were created
The stitch pattern uses lace to keep them stretchy, but the eyelets can also be closed up by working them through the back loop to make the socks more “masculine”.
Suitable for both men and women. Four sizes (S, M, L, & XL) are charted so you can make these socks for almost anyone.
Yardage approx. 360 (380, 400, 420) yds
