Gi Jacket
This wrap-style sweater is constructed just like a gi jacket (the jacket worn in kung fu). Matching gi pants and belt create an entire ensemble that’s perfect for either costume play and the kid who refuses to bundle up in the winter.
The body is worked in one piece from the bottom up, and the sleeves are worked in the round from the armhole down. I-cord ties make this sweater easy to get on and off.
This is one of six patterns from Kung Fu Knits, a combined pattern book / comic book forthcoming in mid-September 2014.
