Part of a three-piece kung fu uniform—or just the most amazingly comfortable pants that your kid will never want to take off.

The pants begin with a simple hem at the cuff in a contrasting color; the legs are then joined at the top, so that there is only the smallest seam to stitch at the end. Elastic is added at the waistband for a customized fit.

Berroco Vintage (50% acrylic, 40% wool, 10% nylon; 217 yds / 198m per 100g skein)

  • Color A: Cracked Pepper #5107; 3 (3, 4, 4, 5) skeins
  • Color C: Cast Iron #5145; 1 skein

US 7 / 4.5mm needle in following types:

  • 16” / 40cm circular
  • 24” / 60cm circular

US 5 / 3.75mm circular needle, 16” / 40cm long

At least 24 (25, 26, 27, 28)“ elastic, 1” / 2.5cm wide, preferably in black (or elastic to match yarn used to knit waistband)
