Brioche Rib is a fun technique that creates a super squishy fabric that is great for items that you want to snuggle into. This is the Pattern that I created to compliment my Beginner Brioche class because it covers all the basics that you need to master before moving on to more advanced Brioche Techniques. By making this scarf you will learn: The German Twisted Cast-on (also known as the Old Norwegian Cast-on), Basic Brioche Rib Stitch, how to knit Brioche flat using 1 or 2 colors, and how to bind-off. A giant scarf might seem like a big undertaking for a beginner, but once you start it knits up super quickly thanks to the chunky yarn, color changes and the addiction of the Brioche Rib stitch.
