Giant Rainbow Bed Pillow
I originally designed this pillow to go on my daughter’s bed to act as a kind of support pillow or cushioned headboard. It’s very densely stuffed with over a kg of reclaimed duvet fibre filling to make her metal bed a lot more comfortable.
It uses 3 balls of Bernat Blanket yarn, but I would love to see it knitted up in rainbow colours!
This giant rainbow pillow is knitted on 3 separate 150cm circular needles to accommodate all of the stitches. It uses Judy Becker’s magic cast on, but as you are working with 3 needles, you don’t need to pull the needle cable through as you do for magic loop.
I’ve added a couple of video tutorials for Judy Becker’s cast on as I haven’t seen anyone cast on this many stitches over two needles using Judy Becker’s cast on.
The knitting pattern can be found here
There are also video tutorials for the cast on here and here
