The finished Gonk wreath, will measure approximately 60cm. This will of course vary with weights of yarn and hook/tension.
I use a 30cm polystyrene wreath but you could use a different sizes.

You will need a chunky yarn for the wreath cover and the hat,
A Aran yarn for the beard.
A 6mm and 4mm hook is required.

This pattern is easy to follow but requires basic crochet knowledge.
The bulk of the wreath is made using single crochet (double crochet uk terms)
It is written in US terms but easy to convert to UK.
