Giant Worm Plush
Level: beginner/intermediate
Finished size: depends on yarn weight, for example-
Worsted weight yarn (weight 4- like the pink one in photos) will give you a worm about 7 ½’ long when stretched out (about 4 ½’when “s” curved): width at widest is 6” using a 4.5mm hook (US size 7)
DK weight yarn (weight 3- like the orange and yellow one in photos) will give you a worm about 5 ½’ long when stretched out (about 3’ when “s” curved): width at widest is 4 ½” using a 3mm hook (US size D approx.)

Supplies:
• Hook size for your project- size down from your yarn label: 4.5mm (US 7) for worsted weight (instead of 5.5mm, US I/9). Size 3mm (US D) for DK (instead of 4mm, US G/6).
• Stitch markers, or similar
• Yarn needle (if making eyelids)
• Polyester filling
• Yarn in your weight/colour of choosing; about 960 meters of worsted weight yarn, or 615 m (644 yards) of DK (I used 310 in the orange and 300 in the yellow)
• Optional: Safety eyes (I used 30mm for the large worm, and 15mm for the smaller- use what size you’d like, or keep it more realistic and don’t use any)
Stitches/Abbreviations Used- US terminology

• St: stitch
• Ch: chain
• Sc: single crochet
• Hdc: half double crochet
