Sweaters can seem intimidating, but the construction on this baby sweater pattern is so simple! Worked from the bottom up, the sweater is worked in rounds until you reach the arms. Chains on either side of the sweater create the bottom of the sleeve, and you work in rows on either side of the sweater from there until your sleeves are tall enough. Seam the top of the shoulders, and there you have it: an adorable baby sweater.
This crochet pattern is worked primarily in dc, both flat and in the round. The ribbing at the waistband, cuffs, and neck is worked in rows of BLO sc. You can easily adapt this pattern for different sizes, and by working in a self-striping yarn, you can create a beautiful finished product for a minimal amount of effort!
