Gift wrapping flower
So I have a confession to make. I have lots and lots of yarn. More probably then I should, more then I need - if that is even possible. But the fact is, I love yarn, I love shopping for yarn, I love the look of yarn, I love the feel of yarn, I love imaging what I am going make with yarn. I love going to my local yarn store with their floor to ceiling bright colors and bins and bins of different weight yarns, and seeing what new goodies they have.
So with the title of this post being “Brown Paper Packages” you might ask why I am going on about my weakness for yarn. Well when I was cleaning out my house recently I found that I had much to much…. well everything. And decided that I had to get rid of some things. One thing that I did not get rid of was yarn. ( I love yarn.) But I did give away most of my wrapping paper. Easily - and I haven’t missed it.
But I did keep my trusty role of brown paper. I love wrapping my packages in brown paper. I especially like using it because it gives me the excuse I need to have another reason for keeping my yarn. Now I can top off my brown paper packages with yarn. :o) See I need all of this yarn.
Today I just wanted to share with you one of the simple and quick patterns I use to wrap up my packages.
