Have you ever watched a commercial on television and it’s one you HAVE to watch, EACH time it’s shown? You hear the music or the narrator and your eyes immediately look up and you are glued. You might not even remember what product is being advertised, but watching it makes you feel ‘an emotion’ each time. This is one of those patterns that will make you feel ‘emotionally good’ while knitting it! As the stitches grow and your fabric becomes a lovely piece of art, you’ll smile and keep coming back to “watch” it, to knit it, and to have a ‘feel good giggle’ with your results.

GIGGLE is a real eye catcher with optional beading possibilities and optional knitted fringe at various areas of the design. It’s full of texture and stitch detail, displaying a lovely asymmetrical triangular shape.

This unique design begins with a cable cast on and grows slowly with an increase of one stitch on every right side row. Depending on how large you’d like your final project, there is an “adaptable/extended” version. If you choose to shorten your piece, the bind off could be at any given row, as you make this your own. Remember the larger your needle choice, the more yarn you’ll need.

Optional beading and optional knitted fringe are your choices. Bead amounts can range from no beads to over 1,450 beads, depending on your choice of design.

Many yarn ideas are displayed in the ‘test’ knits, helping to get an idea of what different yarns will do to the ‘looks’! GIGGLE is lovely for some of the Gradient Yarns listed above or use solid color yarn. Both are equally striking.

And another enjoyable part of this design?
IF you choose to extend your GIGGLE, the extra rows have no beading directions. As I say, “make it your own”. Here is a chance for you to place beads into the design, anywhere you’d like. If you choose not to add any? That’s okay too. You’ve made it your own, no matter what! Giggling along with the fringe can give you an added little Jiggle with your Giggle.
