Gilded Grapes Shawl
In an effort to balance financial affordability with fair, sustainable pricing, I have adopted a Pay What Works pricing model. This allows you to pay what you are able while valuing all of the work that goes into making each pattern. The price listed reflects what I believe to be the true value of the pattern and the work of all those that make the pattern possible.
Use the coupon codes at checkout for the price that works best for you. No code is needed to pay the listed price.

The Gilded Grapes Shawl is named for the cable patterns that evoke an image of clusters of grapes hanging from a trellis and shimmering in the morning sun. It is a triangular shawl, knit bottom up, so you’ll feel like the project is flying by as the rows get shorter and shorter. The patterning is created using brioche cables which create an interwoven design on one side of the shawl and leave an uninterrupted rib on the opposite side. Using only two skeins of yarn, Gilded Grapes is the perfect project for those luxury skeins to enjoy their softness wrapped around you.
Instructions provided in both written and charted form. Video tutorials are provided for brioche cables.
Note: The gauge for this pattern is measured after stretched blocking of the final shawl. If gauge is measured without stretching your swatch, you are likely to use more than the recommended amount of yarn and may run out of yarn. I strongly recommend measuring gauge carefully, or having extra yarn available. This pattern also works well at a slightly looser gauge, so if you do have extra length of both colors of yarn, you can easily make a slightly larger shawl by not worrying about stretched gauge of your swatch.
