Gilded Socks
There’s a crackle underfoot in the forest after the leaves turn and fray and fall. Their crisp edges dark and golden, split all around like brittle paper. The centres glow with an opal shine like the sunset colliding with the night, fragile and silent until a step, step, step, and the frayed edges crackle behind like an echo in the early hours of autumn.
You can find the yarns used as a kit here Yarn Warx
Inspired by Autumn leaves, and their gilded edges as they change colours.
