This sleeveless gilet was originally designed for the Sirdar #10061 Alpine and Country Classic DK brochure. Worked sideways in one piece to cover past the hips, this vest alternates the 2 yarns to create a textured ribbed fabric.

TENSION

• Yarn A (F235 Country Classic DK): 20 Stitches sts by 4 rows to 10cm/(4in) by 4.5cm/(1¾in) over pattern on 3.25mm needles or the size required to give correct tension.
• Yarn B (F227 Alpine): 10 Stitches sts by 4 rows to 10cm/(4in) by 4.5cm/(1¾in) over pattern on 10mm needles or the size required to give correct tension.
  Check your tension - if less stitches use a thinner needle, if more use a thicker needle.
