Fading: Gilgalad - meaning starlight

An Elven Reckoning - a year of knits from the last homely house is a collection of twelve beautiful garments and accessories inspired by the stories of Elves that inhabit Middle-Earth from J.R.R. Tolkien’s books.
In this book designer Sarah Alderson will take you on a journey through the six seasons that make up an elven reckoning.
The twelve beautiful patterns feature a wide range of design elements, from cables to stranded colourwork, slipped stitch patterns to lace. Sarah has created a pattern for every person (and Elf!).

A long elven cloak for when the nights draw in and the temperature starts to fall.

A wide cuff and a little clasp give the pretty detail to this cloak, with its integrated pockets and enveloping hood.

Gilgalad is part of An Elven Reckoning - a year of knits from the last homely house book
