The Gillian Cowl is a textured knit cowl designed in tandem with the crochet Sally Cowl. Inspired by the sisters in Alice Hoffman’s classic Practical Magic novels, these two cowls pair perfectly together despite the differences in their craft.

The Gillian Cowl is designed to be a one-skein project using fingering weight yarn that keeps you interested with varying stitch patterns but won’t have you pulling your hair out.

The pattern uses a pair of circular US size 8 (5.0mm) knitting needles and a darning needle for weaving in ends. Blocking is highly recommended to let your detailed work shine!
