I designed this scarf to fill what I considered to be a gap in the double-knit patterns available. Gilmore Girls is such an amazing show with so many images and quotes that make it memorable. That being said, because there are so many quotes on this scarf, there will be a “right side” and a “wrong side” because it can only be read from one side.

I used one skein each of KnitPicks Stroll Tonal for my final test knit of this scarf and it used pretty much the whole skein of each color. I have done a scarf with some other yarns and you would need 2 skeins of each color for anything less than a 462 yard skein. The Stroll Tonal is a very general skein of yarn and in looking through my stash I didn’t find any other brands quite that generous.
