Gina's Trails
Gina passed away May 22, 2018. August 9, 1966 - May 22, 2018
May God hold you close. RIP
This design reminds me of the mountain trails where I grew up in Nevada. I had planned on calling it Mountain Trails. Then my friend Gina was diagnosed with a brain tumor. The hat, with all the twists and turns, reminded me of Gina’s journey. This is my tribute to Gina and her fight. Cancer Sucks!!
The hat is very stretchy and lends itself to yarn from DK (3) to Aran (4). The size can also be altered by changing the yarn weight and needle size. By using a DK (3) yarn and larger needles, you can make a light weight hat. Using worsted (4) or Aran (4) weight and the needle called for, will give you a warm tight hat. Or use a DK (3) yarn and smaller needles for a smaller hat.
Please consider making extras to donate to people dealing with cancer or the homeless.
I am donating all profits from the sale of this pattern to American Brain Tumor Association.
