Ginger and Fox are two adorable characters based on “The Gingerbread Man” tale published in St. Nicholas Magazine. With the trickster Fox and the delicious Gingerbread, you’ll want to dive back into the stories of your childhood with this pattern.

The main part of this project is worked in rounds so you might want to use a stitch marker to mark the end of each round. There is no specific gauge for this project, just try to keep it tight and even throughout each piece. Ginger and Fox measure approx. 10cm (4in), each, when using the same yarn and tools indicated below.

• 100% Cotton DK yarn in Light Brown (approx. 11g), Off-white (approx. 2g), Orange (approx. 12g), Brown (approx. 2g), Pink, Green, and Red (very small amount)
• 3mm crochet hook
• 1 pair of 6mm and 8mm safety eyes
• Toy stuffing
• Yarn needle
• Scissors
