Ginger Zip
This pattern is from my book Cable Knit Style: 15 Stunning Patterns for Pullovers, Cardigans, Tanks, Tees & More. The book includes a 15-piece collection of cable knit sweaters and tops that will be beloved pieces in your closet for years to come.

Construction
The sweater is worked from the bottom up in the round before separating for the front and back pieces. Stitches are picked up for the armhole: German short rows are used to shape the sleeve cap, and the rest of the sleeve is worked in the round until the cuffs. Finally, the zipper is installed between the front collar and zipper lining pieces. Note: due to the all around ribbing, the sweater will appear really small before blocking.
