The finished chicken keyring/tree decoration, when worked in 4ply yarn, will measure approximately 4cm high and 5cm beak to tail. This will of course vary with weights of yarn and hook/tension. For a larger chicken work in double knit, aran or chunky.

This pattern is easy to follow but does require basic crochet knowledge of single and double crochet and the ability to work a magic ring. Everything is easily learnt from the included guide if you are not 100% sure. It is written in US terms but easily converted to UK terms.

The instructions are in written form with lots of photographs and handy hints to help out.
