This is the fifth in a series of 24 linked patterns, published daily in December 2014, to decorate a knitted Gingerbread House. The pattern for the house itself is published separately.

Giant chocolate buttons grow on this tree which stands against the side wall of the Gingerbread House. You will need green DK weight yarn for the tree and chocolate colours for the buttons. I used two shades of brown plus cream to represent milk, dark and white chocolate.
