Gauge is not important for this project, but consistent tension throughout will offer better results. I’ve used a tight tension for this one, like what you would use for amigurumis. To give it more personality I’ve used red satin ribbon (3mm width) and 3 small buttons, as well as small amounts of toy stuffing (this is optional, but will give more “body” to the finished gingerbread man)
