OANA’S GINGERBREAD MAN ORNAMENT
Here’s a cute little ornament to hang on your tree at Christmas. It also makes a sweet little co worker remembrance at holiday time or a special add-on to a gift accompanied by a tag for someone special.
This is a simple project using sc’s throughout. You make two bodies (front and back) and then join, stuffing lightly as you go.
The provided youtube video link is about 41 minutes and easy to follow. However, it goes somewhat slowly so it’s good for a first ornament but once you know what you are doing, then it is helpful to have the written pattern and how-to to print out for future reference.
This is a good little project to use up some of your regular medium weight yarn in brown and white while you watch a little TV in the evening or when you take a break from other tasks. It might also be a good project for young crocheters or the young at heart just learning to crochet.
Each little gingerbread man is unique with buttons, bows and fun expressions.
EXTRA: To make perfect little bows: Check out this pictorial how-to here on ravelry. You will LOVE how to do this skill as it is something you can apply to many projects.
