As the holiday season approaches, I find myself looking for simple pleasures and comfort food. These mitts were designed to satisfy that longing - with a basic textured pattern, stretchy ribbed cuff, and a bit of contrast for visual interest, I hope they make your hands feel both warm and festive!

The length of these mitts can be easily adapted. Changes in circumference should be made in multiples of 3 stitches.

These mitts would also make a great scrap-buster - you can add multiple contrast colors to the sections above and below the thumb gusset.

Options are given for a short thumb or longer thumb.
