How cozy and wintery!! Gingerbread Village is a dreamy, mostly mosaic blanket! Start out with a hexagon center for the snowflake, turn it into a square, add gingerbread people, then build their village! This pattern is worked in the round, with no tails to deal with!

The village has 4 houses, a beautiful city with shops, pathways, skyscrapers, and an ice rink, and an old town hall, or church (with instructions for helping you get through either).

Options for an ornate border inspired by icing on gingerbread men, or a simple border to help center the focus on the mosaic image created within.

Lion Brand Basic Stitch in Russet: 14 skeins. These are 185 yards each.
