The gingham pattern has been around a very long time. Put three colors together, a dark, medium and light, and you get gingham.

How perfect is this hat and booties pattern for a baby boy or girl? So sweet and simple to make! The hat is crocheted flat then folded and seamed. It comes together quickly and the pom poms adds some whimsy.

The matching booties can be made in all one color, two colors or even three. Elastic added in the cuff keeps them securely on tiny toes. Tiny pom poms provide extra cuteness!

Head Sizes: Newborn 0-3 months 3-6 months 6-18 months 18 months and older

Bootie Sizes: 0-3 mos 3-6 mos 6-12 mos
These are crocheted flat, from the cuff down, and sewn up at the back of the cuff and the sole. Super simple and quick. Change up the look by changing the colors of the cuff and sole. Add a stripe on the first row of the top of the foot for a “shoe” look. Tiny pom poms can’t be wrong!
