A warm and comfy colorwork beanie in an easy Gingham pattern.

The hat is worked in the round from the bottom to the top, using DPNs or circular needles as you prefer. The stranded colorwork part is charted only. Please note that you need to know how to read charts if you want to knit the hat.

Difficulty level: Intermediate (knitting in the round on DPNs or circular needles, stranded colorwork, working from charts)

Yarn: Steinbach Eroica (55% nylon, 45% wool; 114m/50g; 125yds/1.76oz), 1 ball of each color (fdepending on your tension you may need 2 balls of main color for the large size). Sample in size medium used 100m (109yds) of main color and 45m (50yds) of contrast color.

Needles: 4mm/US 6 set of 5 DPNs or circular needles

Notions: yarn needle, 1 stitch marker (optional when using circular needles)

Gauge: 25 stitches/28 rows in stranded stockinette stitch (blocked) = 10cm/4in.

Sizes: child, teen, adult medium, adult large, 44, 48, 52, 56cm (17 1/4, 19 1/4, 20 3/4, 22 1/2in) in circumference, 15.5, 19, 22, 22cm (6 1/4, 7 3/4, 8 3/4, 8 3/4in) in length.

Eine warme und bequeme zweifarbige Mütze im Gingham-Muster.

Gearbeitet wird die Mütze von unten nach oben in Runden, entweder auf einem Nadelspiel oder auf einer Rundstricknadel. Für das zweifarbige Muster gibt es nur eine Strickschrift.

Schwierigkeit: mittel (in Runden auf einem Nadelspiel oder einer Rundstricknadel arbeiten, zweifarbiges Muster, Strickschrift lesen)

Garn: Steinbach Eroica (55% Nylon, 45% Wolle; 114m/50g), 1 Knäuel von jeder Farbe (eventuell 2 von Farbe A für die größte Größe). Verbrauch für das Beispiel in mittlerer Größe: 100m von Farbe A (rot) und 45m von Farbe B (weiß).

Nadeln: 4mm Nadelspiel oder Rundstricknadel

sonstiges Zubehör: Stopfnadel, 1 Maschenmarkierer (falls auf einer Rundstricknadel gestrickt wird)
