The Gingham Scarf is a great way to introduce different colors into your tube knitting projects. This can be made using a gingham design, plaid design, scrappy design, alternating two colors or even solid colors creating a strip pattern. (This is NOT a cheat sheet pattern.)

Machine size: 22 needle circular knitting machine

Yarn: Worsted Weight Yarn

Gauge: 11 stitches and 15 rows in 3” / 7.6cm

This pattern will break down every step of the process for you to create your own Gingham Scarf. These steps include creating tubes on the machine, marking tubes for alignment, finishing the tube edges, and joining tubes.

Each step has been carefully designed using alternative techniques to create a flawless finish of the scarf on both the front and back sides. These combined techniques are vital to alignment and joining the tubes. These alternative techniques include:
