Gingham Scarf
Like a strip of gingham seersucker cloth, this scarf is simple and fresh. The checkered pattern alternates cloverleaf eyelets and reverse stocking stitch squares. The stitch pattern is equally attractive on the reverse. You can work it as shown as a light and skinny warm-weather scarf, or use a heavier yarn for a thicker, wider scarf.
Finished measurements
About 6 x 68 inches (blocked).
Materials
This project works well in different yarns. The sample shown used 1 skein 100gm/350m Sweatermaker Yarns Marjorie 50% merino 50% silk.
Correction: on older versions, it says Multiple of 10 sts plus 5. It should read Multiple of 10 sts plus 5, plus 6 for selvedge.
