Gingko Leaves fluttering on a gentle Spring Breeze ~
Crescent shaped, this fashionable shawl provides just the right amount of warmth for a cool Spring day.
Choose from 2 widths: Regular which is 16” long x 22” wide at neck edge and 65” wide at bottom edge. Longer which is 16” long x 32” wide at neck edge and 78” wide at bottom edge.
Casey, at KnitPal, is offering a discount on her “Cotton to the Core” yarns, perfect for our MKAL (see details in the download). Her yarn is wonderful to work with; a drapey blend of cotton and acrylic with a glowing halo effect for that extra special touch! The 6 skeins in each pack are enough to make 2 Gingko Swirls in opposite colors!
I’ve chosen her Lime Green and Sunshine Yellow; check out the many luscious colors she has to choose from at: www.Knitpal.com/pages/cotton-to-the-core
Style and Stitches: Knit in one piece with whimsical Gingko leaves fluttering along the ruffled edge. Short row shaping creates the Leaves and Swirls.
Stitches include: Garter stitch, short row shaping, eyelets and an I-cord edge (perfect for carrying colors and hiding the ends!)
The MKAL instructions will be revealed over 3 weeks:
First Clue: March 14, 2022
Second Clue: March 21
Third Clue: March 28
