Notes: This oversized cardigan jacket is worked seamlessly from the top down in one piece. Stitches are cast on for the neck and the yoke is shaped in the raglan style. Stitches are then divided to work the body with pockets to hem. Sleeves are worked afterwards in the round and are finished with a double knit cuff with an optional stripe detail. The front band is worked in three parts; first, stitches are picked up around the upper body and neck and are worked in double knit with an optional stripe detail. The lower fronts are picked up and knit afterwards in rib with the option of working buttonholes. Finally, the pocket bags are worked at the end in the round and are finished with a Three-Needle Cast-Off. This cardigan was designed to be worn with approximately 20-25cm / 8-10” positive ease, however it can also be worn with less ease for a more fitted look, or with a greater amount of ease for a generous oversized fit.
