Ginsburg Collar
This fantastic lace collar is inspired by one of my biggest heroes, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg of the United States Supreme Court. She has spent her life furthering women’s rights and protecting women’s interests in the US. She is truly supreme. RBG rocks elaborate lace and beaded collars, subtly making room for herself (and of course, the rest of us girls) in a Spartan, male-dominated field. I am in love with her! We owe her so much.
This collar is only a quick 5 rows, so there’s nothing to dissent about! It works up in no time at all and is the ideal stash-buster. This is the perfect last-minute gift: quick, easy, impressive-looking, and uses your odd bits of yarn. Enjoy!
Size: Narrow (Average, Wide) to fit a neck circumference of about 13” (15”, 17”)/33 (38, 43) cm snugly. Finished circumference is about 14 ½” (16 ½”, 18 ½”)/ 37 (42, 47) cm.
Notions: Rinse-free wool wash (optional), blocking mat, t-pins, blocking wires (optional, but very helpful), and a small button.
