This little giraffe is my first attempt at a design using mosaic crochet techniques and I am happy with the result.

The pattern uses three different colors of yarn and is designed so that the yarn does not have to be cut at the end of each row.

Another technique used is a crochet I-Cord.

Other supplies used:
stitch holder
one double pointed needle for I-Cord
yarn needle
polyester stuffing
fine yarn for eyes and mouth - black and white and pink
