Safety eyes are not recommended for children under 5 so if you intend for this Giraffe to be a toy instead of decoration I would choose to sew on eyes with embroidery thread“ABBREVIATIONS:

Ch = Chain
Inc = Increase (Increase = 2 Sc in same ST)
MR= Magic Ring
Sc = Single Crochet
