Giraffe crochet pattern.

This measures about 17cm tall and 14cm in length when made with double knit yarn, or about 24cm tall and 19cm in length when made with aran yarn.

When I make this giraffe I use the Camel and Walnut shades of Stylecraft yarn, but any two that go well together would work (Gold and Copper also work well).

Materials:

For the smaller size animal:
3.5 mm hook (US E hook)
Approx 20g light double knit weight yarn
Approx 10g dark double knit weight yarn
Small amount of black yarn for details
Stuffing

For the larger size animal:
5 mm hook (US H hook)
Approx 35g light aran weight yarn
Approx 20g dark aran weight yarn
Small amount of black yarn for details
Stuffing

• chain
• slip stitch
• double crochet / treble crochet
• decrease
• increase
• half double crochet / half treble crochet
• half double crochet increase / half treble crochet increase
• working in the back loop only
