Crochet pattern giraffe

This is a crochet instruction pattern to tell you how to make your own giraffe. The instructions are written in UK terms with US equivalents. There are many photos to support you making this but it is a simple pattern to follow.

You will need a 3.5mm crochet hook and DK acrylic wool. It can be made with cotton, just use the suggested hook size on the cotton. Using Dk, the giraffe will measure approximately 17cm tall.

You will also need fibre-fill stuffing and a wool needle.

The legs, body and head are made as one piece with the arms crocheted in as you go. The ears, horns, tail, spots and muzzle are attached afterwards.
