Giraffe Amigurumi Toy Animal
This pattern will guide you, written in English (US terms), how to crochet an amigurumi giraffe as shown in pictures. Finished size will be approx. 8.66” (22 cm) tall, crocheted with hook size C (2.5 mm) and sport weight cotton yarn. The giraffe in the pictures was made using SMC Catania Solids yarn.
Because of the striped legs, this pattern will be perfect for using up all your scraps of yarn. Make sure though, that all yarn you use for this project, will be of the same weight / thickness.
All parts in this pattern are worked in continuous rounds.
If you wish to make a smaller or taller version of this giraffe, you can just use a different weight yarn and matching crochet hook.
Skill level: advanced beginner / intermediate
Gauge is not important for this pattern, just crochet tight enough so the stuffing will not show through the stitches.
Stitches used: slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, bobble stitch, increasing, decreasing
