Giraffe Toque
My son is incredibly tall for his age - he is my little giraffe baby. I wanted to make a toque (otherwise known as a beanie with earflaps) for him. I had a hard time finding a pattern that actually fitted him, so I made my own. There are a variety of cute hats out there for toddlers - this one has two giraffe horns, two ears, two big googly eyes and a mane and giraffe markings on the back.
This pattern can be made in any colour you want, but to be realistic I have chosen beige and brown. It makes a great gift and it is so quick to crochet up that I finished it in a day. The secret? A big hook! Enjoy.
