Giraffic Day
Giraffic Day is a crochet cowl worked in the round with the right side always facing up. The Polka Dot stitch pattern uses spike single crochet stitches, which break up the straight rows of color to create a beautiful two-color polka-dot pattern.
For more visual interest, the colors are switched midway through creating a reverse image of the first half. If you’d like to have more fun with this project, you may use different colors for the Polka Dot rows or a color-gradient yarn to achieve the effect of more randomly-colored dots.
