GIRL MEETS BOY - is a unisex raglan pullover that can be knit into a plain, casual, everyday sweater for both genders alike or glammed up with cables and ruffles for a girly girls party knit. One pattern with different options and modifications to suit your preference.
It is knit seamless from the top down, all in one piece construction. The collar and ruffle are picked up and knit after the sweater is completed. There are German short rows on the yoke to raise the back of the neck for a better fit. The cables are easy to do and do not require a cable needle. There are two collar (2 x 2 rib or cable), cuff, and hem options. There are also two sleeve (balloon or tapered) options. The pattern is written for children sizes 1 to 12 years of age. The lampshade in the photos was my inspiration for this pattern. I hope you like it.
