I have designed this easy girls crochet bag using basic crochet stitches of chains, single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet stitches so it is not complicated.

The bag is designed in three pieces. A front and a back section, which are identical, and a long circular piece which forms the strap. The strap wraps around both sides of the bag giving it strength and durability. For this pattern I have used a 8 ply cotton/acrylic but I have also made this bag in a 10 ply cotton and it looks just as good but will be a little larger.

MATERIALS

The yarn I have used in this bag is Moda Vera Beetle which is a 50% Cotton and 50% Acrylic approximately 8 ply yarn. Any cotton/acrylic or cotton yarn will work well with this design. A 10 ply cotton yarn would also be suitable.

Width Of Bag: 27cm (This measurement was taken while bag was flat).

Depth Of Bag Middle: 23cm (This measurement was taken while bag was flat).
