Pattern calls for 6 {7} (20 gram) balls of Patons Fairytale DK.

Can substitute any DK or sock yarn, check gauge and adjust needle sizes for different finished sizes.

Two good yarn substitutes I have used:

• Cascade Cherub DK
• Dale of Norway Baby Ull (fingering, but still works with 5s, resulting cloth has more drape)
