Girls Coin Purse
I have designed this very quick and easy girls crochet coin purse with basic crochet stitches using US terminology of chains, single crochet, half double crochets and double crochet stitches so it is not complicated. For UK crocheters there is a stitch conversion for you and separate stitch abbreviation and visual conversion for both US and UK crocheters.
This pattern is very easy to follow and does not take long to complete with a concise step by step guide showing large images at each step.
This bag is constructed in 2 sections, a front section and back section and joined together around the edge. The purse is completed in an 8 ply cotton acrylic.
MATERIALS
CROCHET HOOK: METRIC: Size 4.25mm, USA: G, UK: Size Use a Size 8 (4.00mm)
I used 3 x 50g balls of Paintbox Cotton Aran yarn for this coin purse, 1 x ball of each of the three colours. Any cotton acrylic yarn in 8 or 10 ply would be suitable for this project. You should be able to make a number of purses from these 3 balls of yarn. It’s also a great way to use up ends of yarn. Have fun using the three colours in different combinations.
1 x Button for closure.
