Girl's Crochet Hat With Flower Accent
This pattern is made with size 10 crochet cotton---no specific brand of cotton was named in the pattern. Each ball of size 10 crochet cotton (the pattern calls for 3) is divided into three balls. The hat is then crocheted with three strands held together (hence why you must divide each ball into 3). You could probably get away with a fine fingering weight yarn rather than investing your time dividing size 10 crochet cotton into balls. There is no indication of yardage, so you’re on your own to figure out what that is…
The gauge is 56 sc = 9 inches.
FYI: If you see something like this: 10 15, 20, it applies to infant toddler, child.
The pattern also calls for an optional two (2) barrettes. The flowers can optionally be sewn onto the barrettes and then attached to the hat rather than sewn directly to the hat.
