This warm and comfortable headband requires only one skein of Knit Picks Washable Merino Worsted Yarn (between 80 and 110 yards). It is an easy and fast project, and a wonderful take along project. Your special girl will want many of them in many colors. It is a great alternative to the winter hat, and keeps the ears toasty and snug in any weather. This headband can be found in adult sizes in my Ravelry store, but it will make any girl feel like her big sister or mother. I have given it often as a gift; it is a crowd pleaser.
