This hoodie was made to match the American Doll hoodie that is in the book “Sassy Knit Outfits for 18-Inch Dolls” by Jeanne Kussrow-Larsen. The sassy outfit is called The Great Outdoors.

The Hoodie body is worked in one piece from the neck down to the underarm; after the body is completed, hood is worked from the neck up. The sleeves are then worked in the round from the yoke down. I did not place buttons on this hoodie because a zipper is much easier for a child to operate compared to 15 buttons.
