Make this frilly girl’s sweater for your favorite toddler using a variety of fingering weight yarns/threads and hook sizes. The pattern covers sizes 2T-4T. The look is great for spring or fall. Wearing her sweater, your little girl will make a fashion statement at any cool weather event, whether it’s formal and just for fun.

A list of yarns/threads and hook size combinations used to make sample garments is included in the pattern. The complete sweater requires 760-900 yards of yarn/thread depending upon the size you want to make.

The sweater features an eyelet pattern body, a 4-layer ruffled fan skirt, and long sleeves with fitted cuffs. It closes in the front with 8 buttons.

This pattern is for crafters with intermediate skills. Most of the garment is constructed with basic double crochet, single crochet, and chains. The layered effect in the ruffled skirt is created with double crochet back posts.

The sweater works up surprisingly fast. Don’t be surprised if you decide to make two.
