Girona is a lovely, medium sized shawl knitted top down in one piece. This shawl has good and practical dimensions- it can be wrapped around the neck twice - plus it is easy and pleasure to knit..
Girona is made of 100 g baby alpaca yarn with addition of 10 g left over yarn.

Why Girona? This shawl is designed for the yarn from Feliz y Punto - a small company from Spain owned by my dear friend Justyna.
I met her at the Barcelona Knit festival some years ago and I found out then that she lives nearby Girona. That is the reason I want to dedicate this shawl to Justyna and that’s why I named it Girona. Besides it’s a quite nice name, I think.

Skill Level: Intermediate. The pattern requires basic knowledge of shawl construction, increases and yarn over. You can find video tutorials down below, demonstrating more difficult moments.
