Giuthas
Meaning Fir Tree in Scottish Gaelic, Giuthas is the perfect subtle Christmas or winter sock pattern! The pattern is knit from the toe up with a gusset and heel flap, first with a half tree motif then doubling the pattern for a full tree on the leg. These socks are the perfect mix of relaxing knit and engaging pattern. With four widths and flexible length fitting, these are a great pattern for everyone.
Giuthas is the fifth pattern in my Four Seasons of Socks collection. Previous purchases from my Four Seasons collection will be deducted from the price of the eBook, so whether you buy one or two to try out first, or jump straight into the full ebook, you won’t pay more than the price of the ebook!
The pattern is fully written and the lace is also charted so whichever way you like to read your patterns, you’re covered! The pattern has been tech edited and test knitted. There’s a screenshot of the pattern, and a list of the stitches used at the bottom of the photos. You will also need to know how to do Judy’s Magic Cast-On and a stretchy bind off like Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind-Off.

I am working to build up my business outside Ravelry, with the intention of removing my patterns for sale at the start of 2021. I will continue to update and sell patterns through Ravelry until December at which point Four Seasons of Socks will be complete. You can also continue to buy the Four Seasons of Socks collection a pattern at a time if you wish.
If you are unable to use Ravelry anymore, and need help retrieving patterns you’ve bought from me, please do email me, and I’ll send them to you. If you’ve bought any of the other patterns in my Four Seasons of Socks collection through Ravelry, and are unable (or don’t want to) use the site to buy the rest, please send me and email and I’ll sort you out with a discount code for my website for the amount you’ve already paid!
